Hempushpa is an ayurvedic and herbal formulation. It is available in liquid dosage form (syrup). Hempushpa can be used by women in pregnancy. It gives relief from morning sickness, mood swings, back pain, fatigue, and constipation.

It is used for the treatment of several disorders of the body such as frequent urination, burning sensation during urination, weakness, underweight, stomach-related disorders, hormonal imbalance, acne, stress, unwanted hair growth, menopausal syndrome, irregular periods, painful periods, and constipation.

It contains herbal ingredients like gokhru, shankpushpi, musali, ashwagandha, and shatavari .

Gokhru is obtained from the plant Tribulus terrestris which belongs to the family Zygophyllaceae . It is used in the treatment of frequent urination, gout, and sexual vitality.
Musli is obtained from peeled tuberous roots of Chlorophytum borovillanum which belongs to the family Liliaceae . It is used in the weakness, fatigue, and increases libido (sexual desire).
Shatavari is obtained from dried roots and leaves of plant Asparagus racemosus which belongs to family Liliaceae . It used to treat nerves disorder, joint pain, and urinary disorder.
Ashwagandha is obtained from dried roots of Withania somnifera which belongs to the family Solanaceae . It is used in anxiety (stress) and depression by improving the functions of the nervous system and brain.
Shankhpushpi is obtained from aerial parts of Canscora decussata which belongs to the family Gentianaceae . It is used in the treatment of nerve disorder and epilepsy.

Hempushpa causes too much weight gain due to the frequent use of syrup by women. This is the only side effect has been reported by patients. Therefore, you are recommended to keep your doctor informed about this ayurvedic medicine and please take dosage as prescribed by the physician.
